Bristol Rhythm Cancellation – FAQs

General Questions

Why did Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion cancel?

The health and safety of our fans, staff, volunteers, and artists are of the utmost priority. After closely monitoring the threat of COVID-19, further consultation with health officials, and examining the necessary safety guidelines, we found the risk to our fans, staff, volunteers, and artists is just too great given the nature of our event.

Will the Festival be postponed?

No. The 20th Anniversary of Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion will be held on September 10–12, 2021.

Ticket Questions

I bought a ticket for the 2020 Festival. What are my options?

Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion will be offering three options for those who have purchased 2020 tickets through the official Bristol Rhythm ticketing system. All ticket options are only open to original ticket purchasers.

Option 1: Convert your purchase to a donation – Ticket Holders may donate their entire ticket or a portion of their Festival purchase to a 100% tax deductible contribution to the Birthplace of Country Music to help support the 2021 Festival. By donating your purchase, you will be helping to ensure the stability of our organization and Bristol Rhythm as we navigate these trying times. You will also become a 2020 Festival Hero.

Option 2: Move tickets to 2021 – Ticket Holders may roll purchases over to Bristol Rhythm 2021. This option allows you to retain the same shuttle and weekend tickets at the 2020 prices. The dates for next year’s festival are September 10–12, 2021. Please note, 2020 Festival wristbands will be replaced with 2021 Festival wristbands, which will be mailed to you prior to the 2021 Festival.

Option 3: Refund – If refund is selected, BCM will refund you for the price of the ticket and admissions tax; however, the processing fee is non-refundable. All refunds must be requested by August 14, 2020. All refunds will be issued by check; no cash refunds will be given. Allow 4-6 weeks for processing.

IMPORTANT: All Ticket Holders must fill out the online form (above) and choose your ticket option by August 14, 2020. All requests must be made by the ticket purchaser. If no refund request is submitted by August 14 and BCM is unable to reach you, then we will process your 2020 Festival ticket purchase as a donation and send you the acknowledgement for tax purposes no later than December 31, 2020.
